 randundee writes '90-92 .The duck season had just ended. Mike Baldwin and myself were visiting Little Siberia one afternoon equipped with two BLOW GUNS he and James Edward Hornibrook had found in a field on a recent bird hunt.
I can remember blowing darts across the interior of the club with remarkable power and accuracy. ( it took pliers to remove them from the pine walls) We decided to go fishin' and brought along the two weapons. We felt like two bad-ass CONGO BUSHMAN SNIPERS. We pulled into our main duck hole and to our amazement was a 12 foot alligator sticking up out of the levy. (the poor smelly ol' grand dad had washed out of his den during a recent flood of the Bayou Meto and froze to .) "Whap! Whap! Whap". I can still remember the sound as we drove 3 blow darts right between the giant gators eyes from about 20 feet.. Laughing like little kids, Michael and I headed toward the boat ramp. We waved as our caretaker Danny and another feller drove by at a high rate of speed. Unfortunately the other feller was a STATE GAME WARDEN.
